Birgit Berndt is appointed as the new festival director and artistic leader
CODA Oslo International Dance Festival has appointed Birgit Berndt to a fixed-term position as festival director and artistic leader. Berndt will assume the position on August 1, 2024, bringing with her significant experience from her role as head of dance at Norrlandsoperan in Umeå.
Availability brings greater relevance to the dance field
Ther backgrounds and starting points are completely different. However, the former and new festival director at CODA share the passion for curating a dance program ahead of its time.
